| Come Back! |
We miss you. Please post when you expect to return. Our Friday nights are desperately boring and in need of sushi! None of the other sushi places compare to Sushi at the Lake. We miss you Albert & Tim.

The HOT List 10 Sizzling Restaurants"
People move to the lake so they can wear shorts whenever they want, avoid traffic, get more house for the money, and discuss who has the better boat. They do not move to the lake to eat sushi under disco lights with rock and roll music blasting in the background.
Wrong.
Sushi@the Lake is not an e-mail address. It¡¯s one of the hottest restaurants in the Lake Norman area.
Forty-four kinds of sushi are served in an atmosphere that resembles a teenager¡¯s bedroom, if that teenager had money. The rockin` joint is owned by Tung Son Ngo, Sok-hun Moon, Akihiro Higashi, and Ronnie Yee. It¡¯s rare California-style restaurant in a city that mostly tries to be New York. Sushi@the Lake is a bit more subdued than some of its California compatriots, though, which is probably a good thing. We¡¯re still getting used to raw fish here; disco lights don¡¯t help the transition for some people. But they make it a hell of a lot more fun for other people. Sushi@the Lake is a dining experience, not just a place to get something to eat. That¡¯s why it¡¯s hot. The best restaurants offer more than food to keep people coming back. At Sushi@the Lake, you proceed from a drink at the bar, where you sit and try to figure out what¡¯s going on, to the dining room, where you are flung in the midst of a rock-and-roll-and-raw-fish experience. Eventually, you ease out of it, only to get ready for more.

Lake Norman State Park
Welcome! At Lake Norman State Park, fun is just a matter of scale. On one hand, there's the largest manmade lake in the state, Lake Norman. When filled to capacity, its surface area is 32,510 acres with a shoreline of 520 miles and a main channel 34 miles in length — thus its nickname, the "Inland Sea." Thirteen miles of the shoreline are in the state park, which provides boating access.
On another hand, the park boasts its own 33-acre lake where fishing and boating are enjoyed. And with hiking trails, picnic areas, interpretive programs and campgrounds, there's more to Lake Norman State Park than merely water.
